VIBE Arts is a charitable organization that provides accessible arts education to children and youth in under-resourced communities across the GTA. I have been one of the artists on VIBE's roster since September 2018.
As one of VIBE's artists, I have had the pleasure of leading and assisting with a wide variety of arts programming. Some of these include:
Creating and facilitating a four week Storybook Illustration program at Evelyne Gregory Public Library, for youth aged 8-14. (January 2020)
Painting a series of murals at Roselands Jr Public School, alongside artist Rob Matejka. The murals were designed and painted with help from the school’s students, and incorporated playground games like hopscotch and snakes & ladders. (May-June 2019)
Assisting with the creation of two murals at Rockcliffe Middle School as part of the Green Art in Action program. Students designed & painted a collaborative mural based on their relationship to the environment in the city of Toronto. Murals were displayed at Jane Station.
