Desire Lines is a mentorship program offered by VIBE Arts to their emerging artists, culminating in an exhibit in a TTC subway station. Desire Lines is funded by the RBC Emerging Artist Program and made possible through a collaboration with Pattison Advertising.
Exhibited in the Ossington subway Station in January 2020
Description of the project: "Monsters often appear in my illustrations as personifications of my anxieties. The funding from the Desire Lines program has allowed me to take this imagery and begin shaping it into a storybook. The book depicts children discovering monsters in their homes, and figuring out ways to cope with their presence. I hope that, when complete, the book will be a relatable little roadmap for any person struggling to live with a mental illness."
